Cruisin' like a Norwegian

I'm back! 8 days without access to the Internet. Why? I hopped on a cruise to the Caribbean Islands. So for the next few days while I'm back, chilling in LA, I'll be sharing a little overview of the trip with you guys. But first, the cruise itself!

We had the pleasure of boarding the Norwegian Getaway for this trip. Built just last year, The Getaway is Norwegian's newest ship.

I have vague memories of cruising with two other cruise lines but I loved the open deck design on the Norwegian. From giant water slides, to rock climbing, to the sports complex, everything embraced the open air and the ocean.

On Level 15, you'll find a free buffet that is open until midnight, cooking up fresh food every minute of the day. 3 other restaurants are also available as sit-down options with three-course menus that change everyday. Did I mention they are also free?

In the centre of the ship is the Atrium where live music takes the stage.

Despite not sleeping for two days, I spent the first night doodling the members of Groove International doing their first performance. Seriously these guys are something else.

I had a chat to them afterward and asked them to sign my sketchbook. Next thing I know, I was trying to catch all of their performances.

That's all I can show you for today! The journey continues tomorrow, I can't wait to put up some of the photos of the islands on here.

Thanks for sticking with me so far!

I'll pop a few more photos here.
