Well here it is guys, the first illustrated blog after a year of working abroad. I was naive enough to think that I would keep illustrating once I moved there, but now that I finally have some time to myself, I'm determined to remember this past year with every bit of ink and paint I have. These posts will be very personal, and it'll highlight the things that affected me the most. Some of it may seem like nonsense, or even cheesy, but I want to keep it real and honest.
Mountain View was like a less hyped-up version of Palo Alto in Silicon Valley. It was the place I spent most of my time, where I worked, and eventually lived. People usually preferred to head up to San Francisco or Palo Alto for their weekly outings, but Mountain View was the perfect place to live. It had a peacefulness and a warmth that the other places didn't, and I still miss it dearly. Or perhaps it's just because of all the sentiments scattered there...
