Famished Fridays: Let Them Feast

Let Them Eat was the first place that made me appreciate vegetarian food, and dare I say, had me hooked on my first bite. They were at the forefront of the wholefood trend when it started to emerge in Adelaide, and for good reason.

Tanya and Danielle have crafted beautiful, rustic dishes full of heart and charm. Their portion sizes are as generous as their prices. I promise every meat lover out there that you will feel deprived of nothing at Let Them Eat, good food is good food, it can be enjoyed by anyone and everyone.

I was terribly sad to hear that their Croydon store was closing, so I chased them up for an interview. I'm so glad that I did, because now I know that it wasn't the end of anything, it was the start of many wonderful things. The team is ready to move forward and I can't wait to see what they have coming up next.

Good luck guys!

Food trucks in Adelaide have been publicly scrutinised far too frequently. The most common blame is that they have a negative impact on existing businesses. I spent a week running around to pay these lovely people a visit based on the suggestions on my Instagram.

The Adelaide Council has opened a forum for public input before they revise the guidelines for our food trucks. Forums close on August 28th, 5 pm. Head over here to have your say.

Thank you to...

for taking the time to chat with me and be a part of this article.

I wish I had more time to catch up with all the other suggestions from my readers including Tiger Rolls Banh Mi, Cheesy Street, Phat Buddha Rolls, Delectaballs, and Great Relish Nomadic Cafe. Thankyou for the suggestions!

Let's show some support for these amazing people.

Until next week,

Elaine
