Twitter Pride Month 2019
I worked with Twitter to create Hashmojis for Pride Month 2019, specifically with an intent to include and give spotlight to the Trans community, and celebrate the 50th anniversary of Stonewall. After speaking with members of the LGBTQ+ community at Twitter, I chose to illustrate the silhouette of Martha P. Johnson for the #Stonewall50 emoji as she was a significant figure and symbol of resistance at this time, as well as a voice of the Trans community.
In addition to the Hashmojis, I created OOH pieces that were placed all the way down Market St in San Francisco, at every bus stop and newspaper stand for the later half month of Pride.
Twitter HQ Sky Bridge
My #SeeUsHearUs Hashmoji was well received and Twitter installed it along their sky bridge in San Francisco.
